STAFFING EXPERT KAREN BROWNE TO MODERATE AT 2005 ACCE

PeopleScout, the leading provider of outsourced candidate screening and processing solutions, announced that Karen Browne, Vice President of Operations, will serve as an industry expert on finding, hiring and keeping agents for the call center industry at the Annual Call Center Exhibition (ACCE), being held this year from September 19 to 21 in Seattle. Browne will also moderate a panel, "You Cannot Not Communicate," being held September 20, 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and will be available for discussions before and after the panel.
"I am excited to be part of ACCE and look forward to sharing my research and views on how to find, hire and keep great agents," said Browne. "Staffing is a major concern for every call center and a large part of how effective a company may be at hiring and keeping the best employees involves communication, both among and between executives and agents. A good communication strategy will help a company retain the best people."
Browne has focused on client and agent retention issues for 15 years and is the executive leader of a 250-seat call center at PeopleScout, a national provider of candidate processing services for some of America's largest employers. She is recognized for her inspiring and innovative ideas for keeping people motivated in an often repetitive environment. The call center employs more than 350 recruiters who specialize in screening and processing call center candidates, who have helped clients make more than 75,000 hires so far this year. For the past five years she has held the role of vice president of operations for PeopleScout. Previously, she owned a consulting business, Strategy 4 Success, which concentrated on creating operational excellence through process and people. Browne is a member of the Call Center Network Group.
ACCE is a premier call center event for education and networking, produced by integrated media company CMP Media LLC. The annual show is being held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle. ACCE will feature speakers on a variety of call center topics, an exhibit floor and tours of area call centers.
