Are people really a company’s most important asset? If so, why aren’t we treated that way?

This is shocking. When companies are asked why they do not check the effectiveness of hiring, most respond that measuring employee performance is too difficult. When has “too difficult” ever been an acceptable excuse to not tackle something so important to the health of a company? We know of which measures would be considered “low hanging fruit.” Why wouldn’t 2/3s of the companies surveyed not tackle at least those easier measures?As recruitment and HR practitioners does the responsibility…
