Australia recorded its biggest one-day rise in COVID-19 deaths on Monday although a slowdown in new cases gave hope that a second wave of new infections in the state of Victoria may have peaked.

Canada Regains 55% of Jobs Lost to Coronavirus

Canada is seeing some economic recovery as coronavirus restrictions ease throughout the country. About 55% of the 3 million jobs lost since April were recouped as of July, according to the Labour Force Survey

UK’s COVID-19 Death Toll Lowered to 41,000 After Methodology Change

Britain’s official death toll from the COVID-19 pandemic was lowered by over 5,000 on Wednesday because the government adopted a new way of counting fatalities after concerns were raised that the old method overstated them.

There has been a dramatic increase in coronavirus cases among children in the United States, according to a report from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Number of Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in Poland Reaches 52,410

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by 619 since Sunday and reached 52,410, the Ministry of Health said on Monday. So far, 36,877 people have recovered.
