Do you encourage your team to take time off and are you modeling that behavior?

This really hit home. I just sent my team a note that I would be on vacation for a week, but that they could reach me on my mobile if needed. Although I wanted them to know that I could be reached I wonder what messages I am inadvertently sending them.That I don’t trust them? That certainly isn’t the case. That they can’t disengage during their vacation? That also isn’t the case either. I want them to take every vacation day and to fully enjoy their time away with family and friends. I know…
