HRO Today Names Four TrueBlue Leaders as 2019 HR Superstars

TACOMA, Wash. – TrueBlue is pleased to announce that four of its leaders have been named to the HRO Today 2019 HR Superstars list. Each year, HRO Today releases its list of HR Superstars, recognizing those who are leading the way in HR transformation and innovation at their organizations.

Patrick Beharelle
Chief Executive Officer, TrueBlue

Known for challenging the status quo, Beharelle is driving a digital transformation within TrueBlue and the industry with breakthrough technologies. Beharelle has spent more than two decades in staffing, recruitment process outsourcing, and consulting. He joined TrueBlue in 2014 following the acquisition of PeopleScout and Staff Management, where he served as CEO from 2009 to 2014 and delivered a solid track record of organic growth. Beharelle was recently inducted into Staffing Industry Analysts’ Hall of Fame.

Taryn Owen
President, PeopleScout
President, PeopleReady Effective December 30, 2019

Owen serves as the President of PeopleScout, an award-winning RPO, MSP, Total Workforce Solutions, and talent advisory provider. She has led the organization through a period of substantial growth, global expansion, multiple acquisitions, and the launch of the company’s game-changing Affinix™ talent technology. Under Owen’s leadership, PeopleScout has earned top rankings from NelsonHall and Everest Group. In 2019, PeopleScout was named the No. 1 MSP provider for the third consecutive year, the No. 1 RPO provider in APAC, and an Enterprise, EMEA and Healthcare RPO Leader on HRO Today’s Baker’s Dozen Customer Satisfaction Ratings. On November 13, 2019, Owen was named President of TrueBlue’s PeopleReady division effective December 30, 2019.

Chip Holmes
Senior Vice President of Client Delivery, PeopleScout
Interim President, PeopleScout Effective December 30, 2019

Holmes currently serves as Senior Vice President of Client Delivery for PeopleScout. On November 13, 2019, Holmes was named interim President of PeopleScout effective December 30, 2019. Holmes is an industry veteran with expertise across RPO, MSP, and total workforce solutions and a background in leading and implementing complex, global talent programs. Holmes has been part of PeopleScout’s global leadership team since 2016. Prior to joining PeopleScout, Holmes held various leadership positions including serving as a member of the executive team for the RPO practice of a major global HR services organization. Holmes is a respected leader known for his broad knowledge of the talent landscape and commitment to empowering the success of both his client partnerships and his team.

Carl Schweihs
President, PeopleManagement

Schweihs serves as President of PeopleManagement. He provides strategic direction for this key division of TrueBlue that specializes in on-site and contingent workforce management for manufacturing, fulfillment, and distribution facilities. His leadership of its three distinct staffing segments – Centerline Drivers, SIMOS Insourcing Solutions and Staff Management | SMX – helps change lives and build stronger businesses by connecting great talent with great companies. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Schweihs previously served as TrueBlue’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts – delivering the full spectrum of TrueBlue’s solutions to produce higher ROI for the world’s largest brands. Prior to this, he helped to drive strong financial and operational performance at TrueBlue, Seaton, and Grant Thornton in financial leadership roles.
